SUPREME Ventus

The SUPREME Ventus air-type seal guarantees zero oil-emission and an absolute minimum of wear. It is applied on various vessels and propulsion systems. It is especially suitable for vessels with a varying draught and ships that want to prevent oil-emission.

The SUPREME Ventus uses an air system to separate oil and water and regulate pressures inside the seal and stern tube. Any fluids that enter the seal are drained into an internal drain tank. Other than most systems, the SUPREME Ventus works without interventions of sensors and varying air-flows and it is fully self regulatory.

The standard SUPREME Ventus execution consists of bronze housing parts including the SUPREME Ventus valve, a chrome steel liner, 1 oil and 2 water-repellant NBR lip seals. In addition the system uses a compact self regulatory air-control unit and a small drain tank.
