- SUPREME Thruster Seal
SUPREME TS
The SUPREME TS is applied in thruster systems (CPP and FPP) and comes in three versions. The chamber between the two oil repellant lip seals is filled with oil and the resulting pressure effectively keeps water outside and oil inside the thruster gearbox.
SUPREME TS3 and TS4
The SUPREME TS3 seal consists of bronze housing parts, a chrome steel liner, 2 oil-repellant and 1 water-repellant lip seals.
The SUPREME TS4 is a heavy duty design, equipped with an additional
water-repellant lip seal.
SUPREME Ventus DP
The SUPREME Ventus DP specially developed for thruster systems that function at great (varying) depths. It works according to the SUPREME Ventus principle and guarantees zero oil-emission, a minimum of wear and its condition can be checked at any time from the engine room.
A wide set of options is available to enhance the seal design. The available options include: split seal design, wear resistant HML liner coating and FKM lip seal compound.
